Warhammer Store in Houston: The Wall Is Real and the Stock Is Deep
The Forge is one of the largest independent Warhammer retailers in the Houston metro. We stock the Games Workshop line across Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, Necromunda, Horus Heresy, and The Old World, organized by faction on a dedicated wall one full aisle deep, with the Citadel paint range one row over.

40K open play fires every Wednesday at noon — matched play, crusade, and casual share the floor. Monthly RTTs run the 2nd Saturday (pre-register on the calendar), with painted-army standards for tournament play. Age of Sigmar Spearhead runs Fridays at 6 PM, Horus Heresy gathers the 3rd Saturday, and The Old World is back — we stock Bretonnia, Tomb Kings, The Empire, Orcs & Goblins, High Elves, and the rest.

Commander in Houston: A Dedicated Commander House
Our card tables are built around Commander. Nearly all of our Commander community plays multiplayer pods, and we run Commander nights on Monday and Friday. Pods are consistent and casual-friendly, and new players are always welcome at the table.

Pokémon TCG night runs every Saturday at 6 PM. Pre-release events for new sets fill to capacity, and Professor Bryan, our certified judge, runs each event smoothly from check-in through final standings. Pokémon has grown faster than any other card game at The Forge over the past two years.

Every TCG with a real Houston player base has a recurring event on the calendar, which means organized play, prize support, and a community that shows up on the same night every week.
- Flesh and Blood: weekly play on Wednesday evenings, with Skirmish Season tournaments and Legend Story Studios organized-play support.
- Star Wars Unlimited: weekly play Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, plus official Store Showdown events with Fantasy Flight prize kits.
- Riftbound: on our tables since the game launched in October 2025. We were one of the first shops in Texas to run organized play, and Nexus Nights run weekly on Thursdays. We hosted Unleashed events in May 2026, the game's third set.

Board games are better with a table to play them on. The Forge pairs a curated board game wall with 20+ open tables in the Memorial area. Heavy euros, social deduction, party games, two-player tacticals, co-op campaigns, family classics, and the latest crowdfunded releases hit the shelves the week they arrive.
The wall rotates every week. New releases land on Saturdays, and staff picks get shelf-talkers so you know which games the crew behind the counter actually played and recommend. Heavier titles like Twilight Imperium live right on the shelf alongside the rest.

Friday Board Game Night: Houston's Open-Table Night
Friday board game night starts at 6 PM and runs until close. No registration, no entry fee. Bring your own game or join a group forming at a table, and the staff will teach a game if nobody at the table knows the rules. The room fills with a mix of regulars and first-timers.

Two-player games make the cheapest, most replayable date night in town: 7 Wonders Duel, Patchwork, and Star Realms all sit on the shelf.
