The Deadline Painter’s Wall
The Deadline Painter’s Wall
The Forge stocks the wall for painters working against a clock: a tournament Saturday, a campaign night, a promise to finish the squad. Every range on it earns a spot in that workflow.
Army Painter Speedpaint for one-coat coverage across whole units
Citadel to match the official scheme without substitutions
Vallejo for airbrush-speed base coats
AK Interactive for the weathering pass that hides rushed edges
Pro Acryl and Two Thin Coats wave 1 for the model that gets the extra hour
“The Forge has the best paint selection for 100 miles, that’s why we drive an hour to get there.” (Michael Powell, Google review, 5 stars)

The Weekend Rescue Plan
Due Saturday? Here is how Bunker Hill Village painters use the store to hit the date.
| When | The Move |
|---|---|
| Tonight | Call (832) 544-1786, confirm colors, drive in, buy the wall run in one trip |
| Weeknights | Claim a paint station seat, open during all store hours, and batch the squad |
| Saturday 10 AM | Restock morning: grab anything that ran dry at the earliest open of the week |
| Saturday afternoon | Field the finished army on 20+ tables with free in-store terrain |
The paint station is the quiet weapon here: dedicated space, good company, and no home-table cleanup between sessions.
